Possible talks with Chinese president after 2 years
Discussions may take place between Prime Minister Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the BRICS summit. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs itself informed yesterday that an agreement has been reached between India and China regarding patrolling in Ladakh.
According to media reports, in such a situation, talks between Prime Minister Modi and Jinping could take place. If this happens, the two leaders will talk after 2 years. The two last met in 2022 at the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia.

Foreign Minister Jaishankar to join BRICS Plus
Prime Minister Modi will leave Russia on October 23. After this, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will lead the Indian delegation to the BRICS and countries session on October 24. This session will have the theme “BRICS and the Global South”.
In total, 28 countries and 5 international organizations will participate in this summit. After the summit, a joint declaration of the BRICS countries, namely the Kazan Declaration, will be issued. India may also open a new consulate in Kazan. More than a thousand Indian students live here.
