Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is in jail in a money laundering case amounting to Rs 200 crore, has written a letter to Karan Johar. In the letter, he expressed his desire to purchase a stake in Dharma Productions for Jacqueline. He called all the allegations against him false.

Sukesh offered to take 50 to 70 percent stake in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. In the letter shared by Sukesh’s PR team, it was stated that if Karan Johar accepts this proposal, the deal would be completed within 48 hours.

Sukesh said: his intentions were honest

It was also written in the letter that Dharma Productions was looking for investments and Sukesh’s company, LS Holdings, aimed to help grow the company. Sukesh also said that his proposal might perhaps seem unusual due to the recent controversies. But she insisted her intentions were honest.

Called Jacqueline the love of his life

Sukesh also praised Karan Johar in the letter. She called Karan a wonderful person. He described Jacqueline as the love of his life. She added: For me, films are not just a business, but a passion and an emotion. Personally, I like movies.

Adar Poonawala to buy 50% stake in Dharma Productions

Adar Poonawala’s Serene Productions will acquire 50% stake in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Dharmatic Entertainment. This deal will cost Rs 1,000 crore. The company gave this information on October 21.

After this agreement, Karan Johar will hold approximately 50% stake in Dharma. Currently, Johar holds 90.7% stake in Dharma and his mother Hiru holds 9.24%. Even after the deal, Karan Johar will remain executive chairman of the company. Apoorva Mehta will also remain CEO.
