In fact, the BJP had given ticket to Sanjay Upadhyay from Borivali seat, which made him angry and filed his nomination paper on October 29, the last day of nomination. He said I made this decision not for ticket reasons, but because of the concern of local workers. Workers were continually ignored.

Major rebel from Mahayuti, who presents himself as independent…

Borivali-Gopal Shetty was a two-time BJP MP. This time he did not get the ticket for the Lok Sabha elections, so he wanted to contest the assembly elections, but the BJP gave the ticket to Sanjay Upadhyay.

Umred-Raju Parve is a leader of Shinde’s Shiv Sena faction. The party had contested the Lok Sabha elections from Ramtek, but lost. This seat went to the BJP in the assembly elections. The BJP has fielded Sudhir Parve.

Andheri ex-Sankveena Sharma is the wife of former dating expert Pradeep Sharma. Shinde had joined the Shiv Sena faction just a few days ago. The party has nominated Murji Patel as its candidate for this seat and she is contesting the election as an independent.

Chinchwad-Nana Kate is the leader of the Ajit faction of the NCP. The seat went to the BJP. The BJP has fielded Shankar Jagtap.

Mankhurd-Shivajinagar- Nawab Malik

The case on this seat is very interesting. Minutes before the deadline for filing nominations ended, the Ajit faction NCP declared Nawab Malik as its candidate. Malik was already demanding the ticket, but the BJP was opposing it.

The BJP had leveled numerous allegations, including treason against Malik by calling him close to Dawood Ibrahim. This is why Malik could not get the ticket. However, on October 29, Nawab Malik filed two documents.

After filling the form, he said: “I have filed my nomination as a NCP candidate. He had also filed his candidacy as an independent candidate. But the party sent the AB form and we submitted the AB form at 2:55 p.m. Now I am the official candidate of the PCN.

The BJP still opposes Nawab Malik’s candidature. Under the agreement, this seat was allocated to the Shinde faction. The party gave ticket to Suresh Patil from here. The BJP also supported Patil and continuously made statements against Malik.

The BJP and Ajit’s NCP are clashing over the Katol seat. Former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had become an MP from this seat before the NCP split. However, when there was a split in the party, Deshmukh supported Sharad Pawar. It is for this reason that the BJP claimed this seat.

At the same time, Ajit still considered it the seat won by the NCP. As a result, both candidates presented. The BJP gave ticket to Charan Singh Thakur while the NCP gave ticket to Naresh Arsade.
