Students will now be able to appear for the JEE Advanced exam not twice but three times. According to the new NTA guidelines, candidates will now have a maximum of three attempts, which they can take continuously.

Apart from this, it has been stated in the guidelines that only students born on or after October 1, 2000 can give JEE Advanced. However, age relaxation of 5 years is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e. candidates born on or after October 1, 1995.

It was also stated in the notification that so far, the top 2.5 lakh students qualified in JEE Mains were eligible for JEE Advanced. But this time this number can be increased.

This number of candidates will be pre-selected by category.
