Southern cinema superstar Kamal Haasan opened up about his personal life in an interview. He shared an anecdote related to his ex-wife Sarika. Kamal Haasan said he was shocked when he learned that Sarika had left home and was facing financial problems.
Kamal was shocked to learn about Sarika’s condition. In a conversation with Simi Garewal, Kamal Haasan shared that he and Sarika first met in 1984 during the shooting of the film ‘Raj Tilak’. There was first a good friendship between the two, and then this friendship turned into love. After that, they both got married in 1988.

Kamal Haasan said, “I didn’t know that Sarika had left home and was facing mental and financial problems alone. When I met her, she was a star, but still very few people knew where she lived. As Sarika and I’s friendship grew stronger, I learned about her true condition and was shocked. I loved her very much, but I also sympathized with her. However, Sarika did not need this sympathy and she considered it very insulting. If she was asked if she needed help, she would get angry.
Both of them divorced in 2004. Kamal and Sarika divorced in 2004. Both have two daughters Shruti and Akshara Haasan. After the divorce, Sarika entered the world of television. Recently, Sarika was also seen in the film ‘Unchai’ with Amitabh Bachchan.
