Shahrukh Khan received death threats on November 5.

Mohammed Faizan Khan, the accused who threatened Shahrukh Khan, was arrested by the Mumbai Police in Raipur on Tuesday (November 12). The actor’s team had filed a complaint against the perpetrator of the threats at the Bandra police station, following which a police investigation was initiated. The number from which Shahrukh was threatened was registered in the name of Faizan Khan, a lawyer residing in Raipur.

According to the report, on Tuesday morning, Mumbai Police CSP Ajay Singh and his team arrived in Raipur for transit remand. Here, Faizan was arrested from his house. Today he will be presented in court.

According to Aaj Tak reports, the police had reached Faizan Khan within days of receiving the threat. However, Faizan had said that he would come to Mumbai on November 14 to record his statement. Faizan had said in his initial statement that the number from which Shahrukh was threatened belonged to him and his mobile phone was stolen on November 2, 3-4 days before the threat was made.

Family complaints – Faizan also receives threats

Faizan’s family claims that the Mumbai Police had already contacted them, but they had approached the Bandra police station on November 14 to record their statement. Faizan has been receiving death threats for several days. Faizan had requested the Mumbai Police Commissioner that for security reasons he should appear through audio-video instead of coming to Mumbai. However, the Mumbai Police arrested him.

It was said in the threat – I will kill Shahrukh

According to the DCP, a call was received from an unknown number at Bandra police station. In this, the appellant threatened and said, “I will kill Shahrukh from the bandstand. If I am not given 50 lakhs, I will kill Shahrukh Khan. When the caller was asked his name, the response was: “It doesn’t matter to me, my name is Hindustani.”

After receiving the complaint, three police officers from Mumbai arrived in Raipur. On the night of November 6, he stayed at a hotel in Raipur. Early in the morning, they went to Faizan’s house after checking the mobile SIM card location in Pandari area. Questioned for about 2 hours about the threatening call.

Faizan had complained about the loss of his SIM card at the police station on November 4.

Threat given by the loss of a mobile

During interrogation, Faizan said that his mobile was lost on November 2, for which he had lodged a complaint at Khamhardih police station on November 4, while a threatening phone call was received at Bandra police station on November 5 . Faizan was released after showing the copy of the complaint to the police station. He was again summoned to Mumbai on November 14 for questioning.

Faizan handed over a digital copy of the complaint to Indianewsget.

Faizan said: I had filed a complaint against Shahrukh

Faizan told Indianewsget that he saw a reel going viral on social media. It was a clip from Shahrukh Khan’s film Anjaam, released in 1994. In one scene, he comes after hunting a deer with a gun in his hand.

Meanwhile, he tells his servant Hari Singh that there is a deer lying in the car, cook it and eat it. Then, in the film, an actress asks Shahrukh Khan why he kills innocent animals. With that, Shahrukh Khan says he likes it, he likes it a lot.

In this case, Faizan sought a ban on the film Anjaam. There was some objectionable dialogue in one scene in this movie.

The faith of the Bishnoi community was hurt. Faizan said people of the Bishnoi community loved the deer. One of society’s 29 religions is to protect deer. In such a situation, the faith of the Bishnoi community was hurt by Shahrukh Khan’s objectionable dialogue.

Shahrukh tried to start a riot. Faizan, while narrating the scene from the film Anjaam in his complaint, had said that Shahrukh Khan came from a particular religion. They want to provoke riots by attacking the Bishnoi community. In October, he had complained to the Mathania police station in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and the Bandra police, including the Mumbai police commissioner, as the police were creating a divide between the two communities.

In his complaint to the SSP, he said that Shahrukh Khan was threatening his and his family’s life.

In the case of conspiracy to implicate me, Faizan said his SIM card was used during the threatening call. They suspect it is a plot to trap them. He complained about the matter to Raipur SSP Santosh Singh, in which he described the threat to his family and his own life.

Threats were also received in 2023 and security was increased.
