Anees Bazmee, director of the film ‘No Entry’, shared an anecdote related to Salman Khan and Govinda during the interview. He said that both actors never arrive on set on time, so I decide my schedule accordingly, so that neither of them faces any problems.
Speaking to Mashable India, Anees Bazmee said, “I have been working with Salman Khan and Govinda for a long time. I never expect them both to arrive on set on time. Instead, I adjust my schedule accordingly. Through this, you will also understand the working style of the people you work with. If this approach works for you, work with them. Otherwise, don’t work.
Anees Bazmee shared his experience with Govinda. He said, “Govinda’s delay is not news to me. I would be really surprised if he arrived on time, because he never gives me such a shock. So, when I know that he will come at 12 o’clock for the 9 o’clock shoot, I finish the rest of my work at that time, so as not to waste time and also maintain coordination with the actor.
At the same time, even before this, many actors spoke about Govinda’s tardiness on the sets. In a conversation with YouTube channel Reviewron, producer Vasu Bhagnani had said, “Hero No. 1 was to be shot in Switzerland.” The entire team had reached there, but Govinda did not come for three days, leading to the cessation of firing.
Vasu Bhagnani said, “I called him and asked him if you are not going to come, then we will come back. He got angry and said I was coming. However, despite the delay, when Govinda arrived, he was very efficient in his work and completed 70 percent of the song in a single day.
