A decline is observed in the stock market today i.e. November 18. Sensex is trading at 77,100 level with a fall of around 500 points. At the same time, Nifty also fell by over 150 points, it is trading at 23,400 level.

At the start of trade, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 were down and 9 were showing gains. Today, we are seeing increased growth in banking and metals stocks. There is a decline in IT and FMCG stocks today.

Mixed activity for Asian markets

On the Asian market, the Japanese Nikkei is down 0.78%. While the Korean Kospi saw an increase of 2.06% and the Chinese Shanghai Composite of 1.24%. The IPO of NTPC’s subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited will begin on November 19. Investors will be able to bid on this public issue until November 22. On November 15, the US Dow Jones fell 0.70% to 43,444 and the S&P 500 fell 1.32% to 5,870. The Nasdaq fell 2.24% to 18,680.

Final day of Jinka Logistics Solutions IPO

Today is the third and final day of bidding for the Jinka Logistics Solutions IPO. This issue was subscribed to 32% in two days. This IPO was subscribed to 92% in the retail category, 25% in the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category and 4% in the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category.

There was a market decline last week

Earlier on Thursday i.e. November 14, the Sensex had fallen by 110 points and closed at the level of 77,580. Nifty also fell by 26 points, it closed at the level of 23,532. In the same time, the BSE Smallcap rose by 429 points and closed at 52,381.
