Royal Enfield launched the Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350 motorcycle at its annual Motoverse cycling event on Saturday (November 23). This bobber-style bike is based on the company’s most popular bike, the Classic 350. It was introduced with four color options. This includes Rave Red, Trip Teal, Purple Haze, and Shake Black color options.

The motorcycle was launched in two variants. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 2.35 lakh and for the dual-tone color option, it is Rs 2.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle’s direct competition will be with the Jawa 42 Bobber. Apart from this, it will compete with Benelli Imperiale 400 and Honda H’ness 350.

Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350: Design and Features The Gone Classic 350 is similar to the company’s popular Classic 350 bike, but the company has made some bobber-specific changes to it. Like the Classic 350, it features round LED headlights, a teardrop fuel tank, and curved fenders. The saddle height of the bike is 750 mm.

Special features of the bike include a one-piece seat, Ape Hanger handlebars, advanced footrests, cut-out exhaust pipe, USB charging port, spoked wheels and fat tires. Apart from this, it is equipped with a round tail lamp, turn indicators and a semi-digital instrument cluster. As with other models, all accessories and customization options will also be available.

Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350: Hardware The motorcycle comes with 19-inch spoke wheels at the front and 18-inch spoke wheels at the rear. For a comfortable ride, the motorcycle is equipped with a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and a 6-step preload adjustable dual shock absorber at the rear.

Coming to the braking system, it has a 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brake with dual channel ABS. The drum brakes at the rear can be equipped with single-channel ABS in the basic variant.

Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350: Performance The Royal Enfield Gone Classic 350 will be powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled J-series engine, which generates a power of 20 bhp at 6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. For the transmission, the engine is tuned with a 5-speed gearbox. This engine configuration is also found in the Classic 350, Bullet 350 and Hunter 350 of Royal Enfield. However, the company has not disclosed the engine specifications.
