Audi India today (November 28) launched the facelifted model of its Q7 luxury SUV in India. This is its second facelift version. The company updated its exterior and interior.
Features like panoramic sunroof, 4-zone automatic climate control and ADAS have been provided in the new Q7. However, it will only get the current model’s 3.0-litre V6 turbo petrol engine.
Variants: From ex-showroom price ₹88.66 lakh The company has introduced the Audi Q7 facelift in two variants. The price of its Premium Plus TFSI variant has been kept at Rs 88.66 lakh and the price of the High Spec Technology TFSI variant has been kept at Rs 97.81 lakh. These two introductory prices are ex-showroom across India.
The company has started booking the car. You can book it through the Audi India website or the ‘MyAudi Connect’ app by paying a token of Rs 2 lakh. It will compete with luxury SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC90 and BMW X5.
The new Audi Q7 features a newly designed octagonal grille.
The base variant of the new Q7 gets 19-inch alloy wheels and the Technology variant gets 20-inch 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels.
Internal LED lighting elements have been integrated into the rear lights.
Performance: Can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. No mechanical changes will be observed during Q7. As before, it will be equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI gasoline engine, which generates a power of 340 hp and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. This engine is combined with a 48-volt mild hybrid system.
The engine is tuned to an 8-speed automatic transmission and benefits from Audi’s signature quattro all-wheel drive option. The company claims that the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and its top speed is 250 km/h.
Exterior Design: The SUV will be offered with 5 color options. The updated Audi Q7 has a new front profile. At the front, there is an octagonal grille with chrome-finish vertical slats. Apart from this, HD LED matrix headlights, new LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) with digital signatures and a new stylized bumper with fresh air intakes have been provided.
Coming to the side profile, its base model gets 19-inch alloy wheels, while the higher variants will get 20-22-inch alloy wheels. The newly designed taillights feature internal LED lighting elements. 5 color options will be available in the SUV. These include Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Gray and Glacier White.
Interior and Features: 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system Minor updates have been made to the cabin of the SUV. Inside, you’ll get two-tone themed seat upholstery, with the options being Cedar Brown and Saiga Badge. The SUV will also get electronically adjustable front seats and a power tailgate.
Q7 has a triple screen setup as before. It includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, and a screen below the infotainment for the climate control panel. The infotainment system has been improved and now supports third-party apps such as Spotify and Amazon Music.
The updated Q7 will get similar features to the existing model, such as a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, 4-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and 360-degree camera with parking assist. Apart from this, safety features include electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, 360-degree parking camera, 8 airbags and an updated ADAS package.
