However, Pakistan has placed certain conditions on the ICC. PCB wants its fiscal year’s turnover to increase by 5.75 percent. Additionally, by 2031, all major events held in India are expected to follow a hybrid model.
India had refused to send its team to Pakistan for this tournament. Initially, Pakistan remained adamant that India should come to Pakistan. But after India’s strong stance, the Pakistan Cricket Board finally agreed to the hybrid model. Earlier on Friday, the meeting regarding the hybrid model was postponed until Saturday.
The Indian team will not travel to Pakistan due to security concerns.
