World famous tabla player and Padma Vibhushan Ustad Zakir Hussain passed away. News of his death had been coming since Sunday evening, but the family confirmed it Monday morning. He suffered from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and was hospitalized in San Francisco for two weeks.
