Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) on Saturday (December 21) launched a new updated version of its most popular scooter ‘Activa 125’. New colors and advanced features have been included. In place of the LCD screen, a new 4.2-inch TFT screen has been installed, which will give information on real-time mileage, average mileage and distance to travel.
This screen can also connect to Honda’s RoadSync app, which can use features like call alerts and navigation assistance. A USB Type-C charging port is also provided in the scooter. The H-Smart technology will be available in its top Smart variant, in which car-like keyless features are also provided. The Honda Activa 2025 is available in 6 color options.
The new Honda Activa 125 2025 is currently launched in two variants DLX and Smart. Its price starts at Rs 94,422 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 14,186 more than the current model. The company will soon launch other variants with features like front drum brake. The only other 125 CC family scooter with a TFT display is the SmartConnect top variant of the TVS Jupiter 125, priced at Rs 90,721.
Performance: 8.19 hp engine with start-stop system. The scooter is equipped with an updated 124 CC single-cylinder On-Board Diagnostic 2 (OBD2) engine. This engine generates a power of 8.19 hp at 6,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.4 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The scooter will also run on E-20-compliant gasoline. The scooter is equipped with a start-stop system, which provides better mileage.
Features: Side stand cut-off switch The new Activa 125 gets a side stand cut-off switch, fuel tank cap, open glove box and LED headlight with LED position light. To increase the mileage of this Honda scooter, the best tires have also been used in it. The motor comes with eSP, which allows the scooter to start silently.
Smart Key Features
Smart Safe (anti-theft system): the smart key can be controlled to protect the scooter. The vehicle will be unlocked when the smart key is within 2 meters and the vehicle will be automatically locked if the smart key moves out of this range. Smart Find: Smart Key to locate the scooter in busy areas or when parked. the Answer button, the four indicators will start flashing. This function can operate at a distance of 10 meters from the vehicle. Smart Unlock: With Honda Smart Key, you won’t need to keep the key in your hand. When the smart key is within 2 meters of the Activa, you can unlock your seat, fuel cap and handle by pushing and turning various control buttons like Smart Start lock/unlock: Now to get started the car, no key is needed. Once the key is within 2 meters of the Activa, simply press the button and the smart key LED indicator on the speedometer will light up. Then simply turn the knob with the on/off switch to turn on the ignition and start the engine.
