The Nissan Magnite facelift model will get over 20 segment-first features. Nissan Motor India is gearing up to launch its popular compact SUV in India on October 4. The company released the teaser of the upcoming car on social media platform X, in which a glimpse of the facelifted model was shown.
The teaser shows new two-tone machine-cut alloy wheels and a hexagonal pattern grille. It will be equipped with new 6-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, which will give this SUV a sleeker look than before. Their size can be 16 inches like the current model. Apart from this, the company also introduced a new tail light, which is similar in design to the existing model, but it can be equipped with a halogen LED light.
Diamond cut alloy wheels will be available in the Nissan Magnite facelift.
The price can be between Rs 6.30 and 12 lakh Nissan Magnite facelift price in India may remain higher than the current model. It is currently priced between Rs 6.30 lakh and Rs 11.27 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). In the segment, it will compete with sub-4 meter SUVs like Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Punch, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 and the upcoming Skoda.
Exterior: A new grille and L-shaped LED DRL will be available. The Nissan Magnite facelift model was seen in the Bharat NCAP test, leading to guesses that there will be changes in the design of the updated model of the car. The updated Magnite may receive new designed headlights with a new grille and front bumper design. However, as before, L-shaped LED daytime running lights will be seen there.
Interior features: 7-inch driver display and wireless phone charger The cabin layout of the 2024 Nissan Magnite model may remain the same, but it may benefit from a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a power sunroof, ventilated front seats and a updated seat covering. Apart from this, like the Geeza edition of the current model, features such as a 7-inch digital driver display, ambient lighting and a wireless phone charger can also be provided. For added safety, the SUV will also get features like 6 standard airbags, 360-degree camera, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Performance: Will get a mileage of 19.70 kmpl The existing engine configuration is expected to be available in the Nissan Magnite facelift. Currently, the car is equipped with a 1.0 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates a power of 71 hp and a torque of 96 Nm. The engine is tuned with a 5-speed automated manual transmission. Both automatic and manual driving modes are available with the car.
It has anti-stall function, rapid descent and crawl function, which allows you to drive the car at low speed by pressing the brake pedal without accelerating. This feature comes standard on all variants, along with Vehicle Dynamic Control with Hill Start Assist. The ARAI certified mileage of the car with the automatic transmission is 19.70 kmpl, while the manual transmission gets a mileage of 19.35 kmpl.
