Due to their physical appearance, the family members requested to live in Salwar-Kameez. I come from a conservative family with old ideas. Both mother and father are teachers. At my house, girls were always told to behave properly.
Since my childhood, my body structure was such that I had to face a lot of problems compared to other girls. My family thought that people would notice me first, that’s why they always asked me to stay covered in salwar-kameez.
Interest in acting appeared after watching the film Titanic I once saw the Hollywood movie Titanic on television. I don’t know what happened after that day when I suddenly became interested in cinema. From that day on, she dreamed of becoming a heroine.

Between the two, I decided to do business. By cutting my belly, eating tea and biscuits, I started an interior design business. The money I received from home to pay my expenses was also invested there. My work started well there. However, when my family members learned about this, their anger was worth seeing.
The house where she lived caught fire, she arrived in Mumbai with Rs 1800 After dabbling in the business world, I started attending events. I wanted to develop my speaking skills through this. I started getting offers to organize small and large events. Good income was also earned from it.
But one day something happened that changed everything. The house where I lived in Indore caught fire. All my clothes, essential items, papers and some money were reduced to ashes. After this incident, I decided that I no longer wanted to live here. In two weeks, I left Madhya Pradesh and arrived in Mumbai with just Rs 1800.
I looked fat on camera, felt like I wasn’t ready yet After arriving in Mumbai, she started living in an acquaintance’s house. They only had one room, but they kept me very well. As soon as I arrived in Mumbai, I started giving auditions. However, after one or two auditions, I felt I wasn’t ready yet. She looked very fat in front of the camera, and her acting wasn’t up to that level either. The condition was so bad that I couldn’t get started, what would anyone else do?
Frustrated, I called my acting coach. He said that my son, you dream big but you are not able to work hard as a result. This thing showed me the mirror. I stopped giving auditions for a while and made a 90 day chart. I worked a lot on my body and my skills during these 90 days. After that, when I auditioned again, I was selected.
Hearing the name of the Balaji production, she came to audition and learned that she had been selected in the adult web series. I spoke to some of my colleagues. He said such opportunities don’t come again and again, you should do this show. Then, I set a condition to the production people: my scene should not be with a boy. Anyway, my scene was kept with the girl.
I started to feel very uncomfortable during filming. I didn’t understand what I was doing. For a moment, I felt like I was selling my body. I went to the side of the set and started crying.
I told my co-actors that I wouldn’t be able to do all that. He said if you leave this show halfway, you will be boycotted from the industry. Hearing this, I had no choice but to end the show.

When my brother said: You’re famous because of your body
One thing I really loved about my younger brother was that he supported me every moment of my life. One day we had an argument. He said angrily: “Do you think you are famous because of your talent?” You are recognized only because of your body.
Hearing that from my brother, it was like it was all over. Although he definitely regretted it later.
Then I thought: don’t work in such shows anymore After doing ‘Gandii Baat’, I thought I would never do such shows again. Many times I received blank checks. They were like, take whatever money you want, just work on our show. They were all adult shows, so I kept turning them down. During confinement, I refused more than 50 shows.
Only one type of role was available, but I didn’t stop working. I only had one type of role for two years. In a way, I was typecast. However, I didn’t stop working hard. Gradually, the time came when people started giving more importance to acting than my body.

Punjabi singer says keep the saree, I want to see you in it Once upon a time. I practiced for a month and a half for a song with a famous Punjabi singer. She was happy to have the chance to work with such a great singer. We had to go to Chandigarh for the recording of the song. Before leaving, he said you should keep two pairs of sarees in your bag. I want to see you in saree personally.
As soon as I heard that, I said if you had said that sooner, I wouldn’t have worked with you. The same singer sent me an apology message after two years.
An artist’s appearance should not be a barrier to success.
Anveshi said at the end of the interview, “I wish famous filmmakers and directors in the industry would prioritize the acting skills of the artists rather than their looks. Open your doors to people who are strangers or who have no control over them.
I believe that appearance should not hinder an artist’s success. If this happens, it will be detrimental to both the industry and the artist.
