Even then, Prime Minister Modi had asked the Israeli Prime Minister to end the war with Hamas through negotiation and diplomacy. At the same time, emphasis was placed on the immediate release of all hostages and a ceasefire.

Tension has increased between Israel and Hezbollah over the past two months On July 28, Hezbollah fired rockets into Israel. 12 Israelis were killed in this attack. This is Hezbollah’s largest attack since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas.

Hezbollah targeted a football field in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. In response to this attack, Israel carried out an airstrike in Lebanon on July 30. Hezbollah commander Haj Mohsin alias Fuad Shukar was killed in this airstrike.

Then, on September 17, pager explosions occurred in Lebanon, killing 12 people and injuring thousands. The day after the pager explosion, September 18, walkie-talkie explosions killed 27 people.

After the pager and walkie-talkie exploded, Israel carried out an airstrike on Lebanon on September 20, in which 45 people died. Since then, Israel has fired thousands of missiles into Lebanon, killing more than 800 people.

Israel prepares to land troops in Lebanon
