Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said the policy had now declined. Previously, there were good discussions and debates in Parliament. But now there is nothing but noise and tumult in the House. Abuse each other, only then will the news be made.
Rijiju added, “Today we are not getting votes even after doing good work. If you want to talk about something good. There is no one to listen to him. Rijiju said these things on October 2 in a program organized by Rashtriya Seva Bharti and Sant Ishwar Foundation.
Rijiju said: Today, even the media does not cover the right things. Talking about the decline in the political standard, Rijiju said, “When we were young MPs, there was a different atmosphere in Parliament. Today, as Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, I keep thinking that there is so much noise today that no one is willing to listen to those who speak well.
Rijiju said he would have also asked other MLAs about this, they also think the same thing. I won’t mention anyone’s name because this is not a political platform. But they say that if you talk about good things, the media doesn’t talk about them. If you misuse and create ruckus in Parliament, only then it becomes news.
The Union Minister said: We are not getting education the way it should be. The Union minister added, “I come from a border area. In my childhood, there were no schools or roads. We had no facilities. The teachers walked four to five kilometers to come to our village.
But today, children study in convents and public schools. There are many schools where the standard of education is very good. But I feel there is a gap somewhere in the type of education that should be provided.
Rijiju said: Social media has a bad effect on people Rijiju said that there are good people in the society who think about building the future of the country, but there is also a section who do not contribute and influence the society in a bad way. However, he has a large number of followers on social media. I always wonder what’s the point of following such people. Are they ideal people? He said that people should only follow a person after knowing his life and thoughts.
