Business PM Modi Kautilya Economic Conclave 2024 Update; Nirmala Sitharaman S Jaishankar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the third ‘Kautilya Economic Conference’ today (October 4). During this, the Prime Minister will also address those present. This is the third edition of the Kautilya Conclave.

Around 150 national and international educators and policy makers from around the world will also participate in the program. The conclave will begin today at 6:30 p.m. at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi and continue until October 6.

During this conference, some of the most important issues facing the Indian economy and the economies of the Global South will be discussed.

Beyond financing the green transition, many questions will be addressed

The themes of this year’s conclave are “Financing the green transition, geo-economic fragmentation and its implications for growth, principles of political action aimed at preserving resilience, among others”.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Foreign Minister Jaishankar will also be present.

The program is organized by the Institute of Economic Development in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Besides the Prime Minister, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Finance Minister of Bhutan Lyonpo Leke Dorji will also be present at the event.
