Today i.e. October 11, the Sensex is trading at the level of 81,440 with a fall of over 150 points. There is also a decline of 40 points in Nifty, it is trading at 24,950 level.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 16 are up and 14 are down. Out of 50 stocks in Nifty, 28 are up and 22 are down. Except for NSE’s IT sector, all are trading marginally higher.

Domestic investors purchased shares worth ₹3,878.33 crore

On the Asian market, the Japanese Nikkei is up 0.59%. The Korean Kospi is trading down 0.39% and the Chinese Shanghai Composite is down 1.31%. On October 10, the US Dow Jones fell 0.14% to 42,454 and the Nasdaq fell 0.052% to 18,282. The S&P 500 also closed down 0.21% to 5,780. According to the data of the NSE, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹4,926.61 crore on October 10. During this period, Domestic Investors (DII) purchased shares worth ₹3,878.33 crore.

Hyundai Motor IPO to open on October 15 The initial public offering i.e. IPO of Hyundai Motor India Limited will open on October 15. Investors can bid on this issue until October 17. The company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 22.

There was a rise in the market yesterday Earlier yesterday, i.e. on October 10, the Sensex had closed at the level of 81,611 with a gain of 144 points. Nifty also rose by 16 points and closed at 24,998 level.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 16 were up and 13 were down. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 27 were down and 23 were up. The pharmaceutical sector of NSE saw the highest decline of 2.01%.
