India has asked the Bangladesh government to protect places of worship of Hindus and all minorities. Amid these allegations from India, the head of the caretaker government of Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus, visited the Dhakeshwari temple. Once he arrived here, he said that we want to make Bangladesh a country where the rights of people of all religions are protected.

At the same time, after the overthrow of Sheikh Hasina’s government in Bangladesh, there have been widespread reports of attacks on Hindu and minority communities. Many temples were attacked and robbed during Durga Puja.

Two major incidents of attack on a Hindu temple pandal in Bangladesh…

first event A person threw a bomb at a Durga pandal at Tantibazar in Dhaka on Friday evening. But the bomb did not explode. When the pandal security people tried to catch the accused, some people came to save him. They started stabbing to save the accused. 5 people were injured.

The bomb-throwing incident was captured on CCTV. As the conflict intensified, Kotyali police said the case was linked to a theft incident. Kotyali police station house officer Inemul Hasan said that around 8 p.m., thieves snatched a woman’s chain in the pandal. After this, a stabbing incident took place.

Police said the attackers also threw a bottle. It was filled with kerosene and was used as a bomb. Police said that so far three people have been arrested in the case. The injured are being treated at Midfort Hospital in Dhaka.

Police said the bottle was thrown just to scare people. The thieves wanted people to become frightened and take advantage of their fear to escape.

The attackers made the bomb by filling the bottle with kerosene.

second incident Maa Kali’s crown was stolen from the Jeshoreshwari temple in Bangladesh. It is a silver crown plated with gold. CCTV footage of the incident was released on October 11. Prime Minister Modi visited Jeshoreshwari Temple during his visit to Bangladesh in 2021. During this time, he had offered this wreath in the temple. This wreath was prepared by local artisans after 3 weeks of hard work.

The theft took place on Thursday between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The temple guard noticed that the crown was missing from the goddess’ head. After this, the Shyamnagar police were informed about it. Inspector Taijul Islam of Shyamnagar police station said they were examining the CCTV footage of the temple to identify the thief.

India has expressed its objection to the theft incident. The Indian High Commission in Dhaka demanded action.
