There is a rise in the stock market today, i.e. October 14. Sensex is trading at 81,900 level with a rise of over 500 points. At the same time, there is a rise of over 150 points in Nifty, it is trading at the level of 25,100.

Today, we see stronger growth in stocks in the metals, IT and banking sectors. While FMCG and auto stocks are trading under pressure. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 are seeing a rise and 8 are seeing a fall.

Mixed activity in the Asian market

Mixed activity is observed in the Asian market. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is down 0.66%. While China’s Shanghai Composite is trading up 1.01%, on October 10, the US Dow Jones closed at 42,863 with a rise of 0.97% and the Nasdaq closed at 18,342 with a rise by 0.33%. The S&P 500 also closed 0.61 per cent higher at 5,815. According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹4,162.66 crore on October 11. During this period, Domestic Investors (DII) purchased shares worth ₹3,730.87 crore.

Opportunity to invest in Hyundai India IPO starting tomorrow

Hyundai India’s initial public offering, i.e. IPO, will open on October 15. Investors will be able to bid on this issue until October 17. The company’s shares will be listed on the market on October 22. The company has set its price range between Rs 1,865 and Rs 1,960. For this, an offer of at least Rs 13,720 will have to be made.

There was a market decline on Friday

Earlier on October 11, a decline in the stock market was noted. The Sensex fell by 230 points and closed at the level of 81,381. There was also a fall of 34 points in Nifty, it closed at the level of 24,964.
