The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL 2024 Tier-1 Supplementary Result on January 17. Candidates who appeared for the Combined Graduation Level (CGL) 1 exam can check their result by visiting the official website sss.gov.in.

A total of 18,436 candidates were shortlisted in Tier I (Junior Statistical Officer) result and 2,833 candidates were shortlisted in List II (Statistical Investigator Gr.II) for Tier II paper. Whereas, in List 3, a total of 1,65,240 candidates have been shortlisted for Tier-II (Paper-I).

The Commission said that shortlisted candidates can appear for the Tier II examination. The Level II exam will take place on January 20, 2025.

In the official notification issued on January 17, the Commission wrote: “Now, a total of 25+500, i.e. 525 candidates for the Combined Level Examination 2024, are allowed to appear for Level 2 of the examination which will have takes place on January 20, 2025.’

The selection will be made in the Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ category.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Combined Higher Education Level 1 (CGL) Result 2024 on December 5. Candidates shortlisted in the Tier 1 exam will appear at Tier 2. A total of 17,727 posts will be filled in Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ categories through this exam.

1,86,509 candidates qualified at level 2

This time a total of 1,86,509 candidates have qualified in SSC CGL Tier-1, these candidates will now take the Tier 2 exam. The minimum qualifying marks for SSC CGL Tier 1 will be as follows:

General category: 30% OBC/EWS: 25% All other categories: 20%

The SSC CGL Tier-2 exam will be held on January 18, 19 and 20, 2025.

The level 1 exam is 200 points.

The SSC CGL Tier-1 exam consists of 100 objective questions (MCQs). Which are divided into four sections. Means for general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English. Each section consisted of 25 questions of 50 marks, the total papers being 200 marks.

2 points are awarded for each answer, while 0.5 points are deducted for each wrong answer. This exam lasted 60 minutes.
