Question: Mr. Bhatt, first of all, congratulations on your birthday. You start a podcast. Tell us something about this? answer- I don’t put much stock in the tradition of celebrating birthdays. It may be a matter of happiness for others, but not for me. Regarding your question, I am starting a podcast called “Maine Dil Se Kaha”. We all face some darkness in our personal lives. I also went through many addictions, including alcohol. Let me tell you, addiction can be anything. I haven’t had a drop of alcohol in 38 years. We’ve been this far, so we can understand this thing.

Question: What type of guests will be included in the podcast? answer- Those who speak openly and understand their lives will be called into this show. They don’t have to be from the entertainment, sports, or business world. They can come from any domain.

Mahesh Bhatt launched a podcast at the age of 76, it is produced by Imran Zahid.

Question – You haven’t touched alcohol for 38 years. By the way, how did you develop this habit and how did you suddenly give it up? answer- Often only people who fail drink alcohol. Drink a cheap brand of alcohol first. When he succeeds, he starts buying expensive brands. There is a story behind how we got rid of alcohol addiction. My youngest daughter Shaheen was born. I was very happy at the time of his birth. I drank continuously for two days. One day I took her on my lap and she turned her head away. At that time, I felt like nature was saying we should give up this poison now. Since that day, I have not drunk a single drop of alcohol.

Question: With hard work, you changed the lines of your hands and wrote your own destiny, but when you look back, what things do you remember? answer- Strangers came and gave me a lot. I learned a lot from him. He is the one who gave us the means to move forward. The rest is a matter of luck, there was a passion to do something, that’s why I came here.

Mahesh Bhatt will talk about drug addiction through the podcast ‘Maine Dil Se Kaha’.

Question – I often talk to many artists. They say every actor should work with Bhatt Saheb once, what magic do you do? answer- Nothing like that. I’m just making mutual connections. It’s not about acting, but about living. Art is born from life. Imitate life and represent it by considering its colors.

Question – You have launched many talents in the industry. Anupam Kher is also one of them. They often talk about giving you Guru Dakshina. answer- It is my right to take away Guru Dakshina from them. I get more peace from taking Guru Dakshina than the peace I get from giving Guru Dakshina to them. There is great happiness when the disciple succeeds. Anupam has worked in around 500 films. He produced and directed a very beautiful short film “I Went Shopping for Robert De Niro”. The young man from Saransh celebrates his 69th birthday today. In summary, if we look at his character BV Pradhan, it seems that the soul and spirit of the character has penetrated into him. Anupam is an example. There are many others.

Imran Zahid played the role of Muntadhar Al Zaidi in the play ‘The Last Salute’ produced by Mahesh Bhatt, based on the shoe-throwing incident involving George Bush.

Question – Many directors have learned from you, who is a favorite disciple like Arjun? answer- There is something special in each one. There are people like Mohit Suri, Vikram Bhatt, Pooja, Anurag Basu and many others. It is very difficult to say who is loved the most. Sooraj Barjatya was also our assistant. Everyone succeeded thanks to their talent, I was only a medium.

Question: Have you ever faced a situation like Dronacharya in your career? Have you had to ignore someone for your favorite follower? answer- This would never have happened intentionally. If this happened, I apologize. The person who wanted to be close to me couldn’t have done it. It’s my loss that I can’t see it or don’t want to see it.

Pooja Bhatt will also be part of the podcast

Question: You have made many incredible films like Arth, Zakhm. What is your thinking behind this? Is it possible to make this kind of cinema today? answer- It is happening and it will happen. You see, today there is a huge craze for electronic music. Today’s young generation dances. They realize it and think about it differently. There will always be soul-to-soul discussions. Changes will continue to happen, but the film will remain the same. Even after so many years, if we talk about Arth, Jakhaan and Saraansh, we do so because there is the truth of life in them. We only do good work that crosses the desert of time.

Question: What does cinema mean to you? answer- My mother told me to come after earning money, otherwise don’t come. When I decided to make money, I faced difficulties. During this period, understanding of cinema emerged. He had a talent for telling stories, which came in handy later. We have made films in our lives that were influenced by our personal lives.

Question- You had a very beautiful trip, what was the most beautiful philosophy of life? answer- In other words, live your life on your own terms. Do not impose your thoughts on anyone and do not follow anyone’s thoughts. Stay within the rules of society and follow its rules, just like we follow the rules of traffic lights. Never forget that everything that is born is destroyed. It’s just a beautiful philosophy of life.
