Tamil actress Shrutika Arjun has joined ‘Bigg Boss 18’ as a contestant. Before leaving for the show, Shrutika spoke to Indianewsget. He also shared his excitement and a little nervousness about his new journey. Shrutika said during the conversation that it remains to be seen how tolerant she will be inside the house. She also talked about which relationships she would focus on as friendship rather than special ones. Read some key excerpts from the conversation:
How many are ready for ‘Bigg Boss’?
I’m both nervous and excited. There is also a bit of sadness, because I am leaving my family for the first time. But it’s a new experience, and we are also looking forward to seeing Salman sir. Really, it’s just mixed emotions.
Have you watched the previous seasons of ‘Bigg Boss’?
I have only watched ‘Bigg Boss’ in Tamil, I have never followed any season in Hindi. My mother looked at me and told me. Watching reels on Instagram reminds me of mom’s words, but apart from that, I don’t know much about ‘Bigg Boss’ in Hindi.
Do you have any plans before going to the show?
No, I didn’t make any plans. I know, if I think about the future, everything will go wrong. I have to appear in Bigg Boss, so I am going there without any plan. If I make a plan, someone else will ruin it.
What do you think will be the biggest challenge of ‘Bigg Boss 18’?
I believe this will be the true test of our tolerance. The creators will also test our tolerance. In such a situation, sometimes I cannot control myself. There will come a time when everything comes together and I get angry about something else. But I wouldn’t want to let myself collapse.
What is your opinion on building relationships inside the home? Do you prefer to focus on your friendships or on sports?
Listen, I came to be part of this show. My goal will be to win. I know that everything I do at home will change outside. So I’m not looking for any special relationships there, but I will definitely try to make a lot of friends. I have groups of friends at school and university, and I’ve also made friends on the shows I’ve worked on. I make friends everywhere, but deep relationships don’t develop. Building relationships for the camera is pointless.
What things scare you the most and how do you plan to deal with them?
I’m afraid that if I have a good friend, I would never want to disappoint him. It’s not just a game; I will always be there for him emotionally. If this friend betrays me, I will feel very bad. We are both competing and I will want to win. I will try not to tell anyone else about myself if she makes a mistake, because I won’t be able to stand it. If I don’t make friends, I’ll take it easy and make fun of myself. But I will not tolerate this happening in friendship. I make friends quickly, trust quickly, and become emotionally attached.
If conflict or conflict arises, will you avoid or confront the conflict?
I will definitely face it. Why would I survive? I’m not going to escape and I’m not going to let anyone escape. If I’m involved in this situation or my best friend is involved, then I’m definitely going. Even if I’m not in that situation myself, I will go out there and face the situation.
