The army has made new revelations regarding the meeting with the Lashkar commander-in-chief, Usman, who was killed on November 2. The Army has narrated how certain biscuits played an important role in the assassination of the most wanted terrorist active in the valley for the last 8 years.

According to the PTI report, the Army had received information that Usman was living in a crowded area in Khanyar area of Srinagar. As soon as the information was received, the army and Srinagar police planned to kill Usman for 9 hours.

On November 2, army and police personnel reached Khanyar area where Usman was hiding before morning prayers. The army evacuated and surrounded 30 houses. To prevent Usman from being alerted by the barking of street dogs, the soldiers gave the dogs biscuits.

According to media reports, giving biscuits kept the dogs calm during the entire operation, due to which Usman had no idea that the soldiers had approached his house.

Lashkar commander terrorist Usman alias Chhota Waleed was active in the valley since 2016-2017.

Usman had AK-47s, grenades… 4 revelations from the army

According to media reports, Usman first fired at the security forces, after which the confrontation began. Usman carried an AK-47, a pistol and several grenades. During the fierce exchange of fire between security forces and Usman, grenades exploded in the house where Usman was. The house then caught fire. Security forces immediately brought the fire under control. If the fire had spread to neighboring houses, it would have been difficult for security forces to control the situation. Usman was active in the valley already 24 years ago. The Army said Usman was very familiar with the Kashmir valley. He was active in the valley since 2000. However, he later moved to Pakistan. He became active again in Srinagar in 2016-17 and started carrying out Lashkar-related terror incidents. Usman was also instrumental in the shooting death of Police Inspector Masroor Wani in 2023.
