Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Rohini, Delhi on Sunday. He gave a 35-minute speech in the Japanese Park. He once again described the AAP government in Delhi as the AAP-DA government. Kejriwal was cornered on issues like Delhi pollution, liquor scam, school scam and Sheeshmahal.
The Prime Minister said, “The AAP-DA government in Delhi has no vision and does not care about the people of Delhi. They have turned every season into a disaster. When the black letter was exposed in front of everyone, they started to get angry with me.
Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 12,200 crore in the capital. He also inaugurated the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut ‘Namo Bharat’ section of the corridor from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar. This was his third schedule in Delhi in the last 3 days.
The current term of the Delhi Assembly ends on February 23, 2025. The last assembly elections were held in February 2020, in which the Aam Aadmi Party won absolute majority and 62 seats out of 70. The Election Commission may announce election dates during the second week of January.
Called AAP government as AAP-DA government, made 6 comments
1. Integrity issues, corruption committed
The Prime Minister said: “Intentions, decisions, policies and loyalty matter in politics. The question is about the intentions and loyalties of the AAP people. Gave birth to this party on the issue of Janlokpal, elimination of corruption was their main objective. Most of the leaders of this party have corruption cases worth millions of rupees against them, like liquor scams, school scams, scams in the name of fighting pollution.
2. Mention Sheesh Mahal again: PM Modi mentioned Sheesh Mahal again. He said the AAP-DA government is not concerned about the development of Delhi. That is why today, every Delhiite says that he will not endure disaster, he will live with change. They (AAP) are only making false allegations. Sheeshmahal is an example of their lies. They were building Sheeshmahal in Covid times.
3. Every season becomes a disaster. The Prime Minister said: “Today people call it a disaster. They are angry with me. Look at the state of Delhi. When summer arrives, we fight for drinking water, when it rains, there is waterlogging, when winter arrives, it becomes difficult to breathe polluted air. These people have made every season a disaster for Delhi.
4. No vision or concern for Delhi: The Prime Minister said that the AAP-DA government has no vision or concern for Delhi. She can’t give anything. Even today, all the work of modernizing Delhi is being done by the BJP government at the Centre. The people of Delhi devoted 365 days of energy to coping with the disaster. Only if the disaster is far from Delhi will the twin engines of development and prosperity emerge.
5. Elderly people were insulted, PM said: Millions of families in the country are getting free treatment under Ayushman. Free treatment has been decided for millions of elderly people. The AAP-DA people are adamant that they will not allow implementation of Ayushman Yojana in Delhi. It is a great loss to the people of Delhi and the elderly and an insult to the elderly.
The Prime Minister said that the AAP-DA government is not even implementing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana here properly. 30,000 houses are vacant. These people did not distribute these houses to the people of Delhi.
6. When the exploits were revealed, he was afraid. PN said the AAP-DA people were scared after seeing their defeat in the Delhi elections. They are spreading fear in Delhi, spreading lies that if the BJP comes, this will stop, this will stop. I have come to assure that under the BJP government, no public interest project will be stopped in Delhi, but that contracts held by dishonest people will be cancelled.
Prime Minister’s appeal to people of Delhi: The Prime Minister said: 2 days ago, I was in Ashok Vihar, where Swabhiman flats were given to families living in slums. You are doing me a favor – take photos and videos of Swabhiman Apartment in areas of Delhi where there are populations living in slums and kutcha houses and tell all the slum dwellers that you too will get such a permanent house. This is Modi’s guarantee.
