Speech by the Prime Minister, in 4 points…
Just as ISKCON works in the spirit of service, our government also works in the same way. This spirit of service brings true social justice. Service is the symbol of true secularism. Our government connects different pilgrimages and religious places in the country through the Krishna circuit. This circuit extends to Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha. Replicas of the 12 forests of Vrindavan are being made. Prabhupada Ji Swami holds a special place in my life. When he called me at the time of the launch of the biggest Geeta edition. I got the result. When the country was in the grip of slavery, he started a mission like ISKCON. On this occasion, I also have a fond memory of the most revered Gopalkrishna Goswami Maharaj. His vision is integrated into this project. Blessings are attached to his immense devotion towards Lord Krishna. Today, he may not be here physically, but his spiritual presence is felt by all of us. ISKCON followers spread across the globe are linked by the thread of devotion to Lord Krishna. There is another sutra that keeps them all connected to each other, and continues to show direction to each devotee 24 hours a day. This is the thoughts sutra of Srila Prabhupada Swami. He promoted the importance of the Vedas, Vedanta and Geeta at a time when the country was rife with slavery. He performed the ritual of connecting Bhakti Vedanta with the consciousness of ordinary people.
