The young doctor also claimed that this was not a problem limited to RG Kar Hospital, but such a problem had arisen in many other medical colleges as well. Earlier on September 28, mushrooms were discovered in saline bottles.
The Central Medical Supplies Department of the State Department of Health said it would investigate the matter.
