Bomb threats were issued on three flights departing from Mumbai on Monday (October 14). The first flight is Air India from Mumbai to New York. On receipt of the information, the plane was diverted to Delhi. The aircraft is currently parked at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi. There are 239 passengers on board the plane.
The second flight is Indigo’s 6E-1275, it was going from Mumbai to Muscat. The third flight is IndiGo’s 6E 56. It was from Mumbai to Jeddah. These two planes are being examined by keeping them in isolation bays. All passengers have now been disembarked from the plane. Here, a threat was made to blow up the Mumbai-Howrah mail. However, after investigation, the train was dispatched.
This is the second case of a bomb threat on a flight in the last 5 days. Also on October 9, there were reports of a bomb on Vistara airline flight UK18, which was flying from London to Delhi. Around 3.5 hours before the flight reached Delhi, a passenger saw a threatening tissue paper in the plane’s toilet. He informed the crew member. There were approximately 300 passengers and crew members on board the flight. Due to the security check, the passengers were stuck at the airport for around 5 hours.

A case of intimidation in August, bomb threat on Air India flight on August 21: There was a bomb threat on Air India Flight 657 from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram. The plane had reached Thiruvananthapuram. Then the pilot informed about the bomb. There were 135 passengers on board the flight. Everyone was released safely. A state of emergency has been declared at Thiruvananthapuram airport. The flight was taken to an isolation bay. Nothing was found during the investigation.

The Akasa Air flight was diverted to Ahmedabad. There were 186 passengers on board the flight, including a child and 6 crew members. After flying from Delhi to Mumbai, a security alert was received in the flight. After this, the flight landed safely at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at 10:13 am.

June 2: A bomb threat was received on a Vistara flight carrying 306 people from Paris to Mumbai. After this, full emergency was declared at Mumbai airport. The plane made an emergency landing at 10:19 a.m. on June 2.
June 1: There was a rumor of a bomb blast on board Indigo flight 6E-5314 from Chennai to Mumbai. After this, emergency was declared at the Mumbai airport and the flight landed. There were 172 passengers on board. However, nothing suspicious was found in the theft.

May 28: There was a bomb threat on flight 6E-2211 from Delhi to Varanasi. There were 176 people on board the plane, including two children. All passengers on board the flight were evacuated through the emergency door. His video was also revealed, in which the passengers and flight crew were seen exiting through the slide with their luggage. After this incident, IndiGo had dismissed two pilots and cabin crew members for non-compliance with SOPs.
May 31: News of a bomb was received on Friday May 31 afternoon on Vistara UK flight 611 from Delhi to Srinagar. Air Traffic Control (ATC) in Srinagar had received a call about a bomb on the flight. After this, Srinagar International Airport officials and security forces immediately took action.
