Nitish Reddy plays domestic cricket for Andhra.
The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) will present a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh to Nitish Reddy, who led India’s comeback by scoring a century in the Melbourne Test. On Saturday, Nitish scored the first century of his career. He is still undefeated in 105 races.
ACA President Kesineni Shivanath said it was a happy moment for the Andhra Cricket Association. Andhra’s Nitish is performing well for India in Test and T-20. As an honor, Nitish receives a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.
Nitish added 127 runs for the eighth wicket with all-rounder Washington Sundar.
One of the great innings in history: Gavaskar With the help of 21-year-old Reddy’s Century, India scored 358 runs after losing 9 wickets at stumps on the third day. Reddy, who played brilliantly throughout the series, also played a brilliant innings in the fourth Test. His innings was described by former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar as one of the greatest Test innings in Indian Test history.
