Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has become the world’s number 1 all-rounder in the latest ICC rankings. He left behind the Englishman Liam Livingston. At the same time, Tilak Verma, who scored two consecutive centuries in the T20 series against South Africa, made a huge jump of 69 places in the batsman rankings. They have now reached third position.
Off-spinner Varun Chakraborty gained 36 places and opener Sanju Samson gained 17 places. Varun reached 28th position in the bowling chart and Sanju reached 22nd position in the batting chart. There are 3 Indians in the top 10 in the T-20 batsman rankings – Tilak Verma, Suryakumar Yadav and Yashasvi Jaiswal. While in the bowling rankings, there are two Indians in the top 10, Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi.
Hardik defeats Livingstone
All-rounder Hardik Pandya recently played an unbeaten innings of 39 runs in the second match of the T20 series against South Africa. While in the fourth T20 match, he took 1 wicket for 8 runs. Through which he became the number 1 all-rounder in international T20 cricket.
He left behind the Englishman Liam Livingston and the Nepalese Dipendra Singh Airi. This is the second time that Hardik Pandya has reached the top of the overall rankings. After this year’s T20 World Cup, he reached the top spot for the first time.
Tilak Verma gains 69 places
Tilak had scored back-to-back centuries in the 4-match T20 series against South Africa. He scored a total of 280 runs in the series. He is the most successful Indian batsman in the current batsman rankings. Tilak reached the third position with a career-best rating of 806. Captain Suryakumar Yadav lost one place and now slips to the fourth position.
Sanju Samson gains 17 places
Indian wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson scored centuries in the first and fourth matches against South Africa. Which benefited his T-20 ranking. Sanju made a huge jump of 17 places in the batsman rankings and reached the 22nd position.
While Tristan Stubbs and doorman Clason gained 3 and 6 places. Stubbs fell to 23rd and Clason to 59th.
Mahish Teekshana in sixth position
Sri Lanka beat the Kiwi team 2-0 in the recent series against New Zealand. Sri Lankan team spinner Mahish Teekshana is in the fifth position. Adam Zampa gains five places and reaches third position. Indian leader Arshdeep Singh gained 3 places. He comes in 9th place.
