PV Sindhu came to play a badminton tournament for the first time after her marriage.
Indian PV Sindhu won in the first round of the India Open badminton tournament. She defeated Tsung Shuo Yun of Chinese Taipei in straight matches. On the other hand, the Indian Kiran George, who entered late, created a surprise by beating the Japanese Yushi Tanaka.

Sindhu, who was playing her first tournament after marriage, took just 51 minutes to win the first match. Tsung Shuo took the lead in the initial match, but Sindhu made a comeback and won the match 21-14, 22-20.
Sindhu will face the Japanese player in the second round, Sindhu will face world number 16 Manami Suiju of Japan. The fifth seed had to face defeat on Tuesday, Malaysian Leong Jun Hao created a surprise. Who eliminated Chinese fifth seed Li Shi Feng by beating him 18-21, 21-17, 21-17. In women’s singles, Singapore’s seventh seed Yeo Jia Min advanced to the next round by beating Vietnam’s Thuy Linh Nguyen 19-21, 22-20, 21-5.
