Thanks to the accurate bowling of fast bowler Nahid Rana (5 wickets), Bangladesh repelled the West Indies in Kingston. Till the third day of the match on Monday, Bangladesh team scored 193 runs for 5 wickets in the second innings. Zaker Ali is undefeated with a score of 29 and Taijul Islam with 9 points.

After scoring 164 runs in the first innings, the Bangladesh team cruised the West Indies for 146 runs and took a lead of 18 runs. Currently, the team’s total lead is 211 points.

Losing the first wicket for nil, Shadman-Mehdi missed fifty. Bangladesh got off to a poor start in the second innings. The team lost the first wicket by a score of nil. When Joyden Sills had Mahmudullah Hasan Joy caught by Ethnos on the 5th ball of the first over. In such a situation, Shadman Islam took the innings forward with Shahadat Hussain, but he was bowled out on 46 runs. Captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj contributed 42 points.

Shamar Joseph took two wickets for West Indies. Joyden Sills, Alzarri Joseph and Justin Graves each took a wicket.

Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh ready for his second Test

Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has given an update on his fitness. He told Australian Sports Channel: My body is absolutely fine, I’m completely ready to play in the second Test. Marsh suffered a muscle strain during the Perth Test. There were doubts about his participation in the Pink Ball Test which will be held in Adelaide from December 6.
