Mandhana scores fastest 4,000 runs Smriti Mandhana became the fastest Indian woman to score 4,000 runs in women’s ODIs. She is now the 15th Indian in the world to reach this milestone in ODIs and the second Indian after Mithali Raj.

Mandhana completed 4,000 runs by removing a single off Arlene Kelly in the ninth over of the Indian innings. Smriti Mandhana, who captains India in Harmanpreet’s absence, along with opener Pratika Rawal added 70 runs for the first wicket.

Smriti played an innings of 41 runs off 29 balls at a strike rate of 141.37, 6 fours and 1 six. Freya Sargent surprised him. Harleen Deol played a 20-run inning and Jemimah Rodrigues played a 9-run inning. Both of these drummers were dismissed by Amy Maguire.
