The special thing is that this motorcycle is the first motorcycle in the country to run on E85 fuel in the 300CC segment. E85 fuel means it is prepared from 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. Using flexible fuel will reduce pollution.

The Indian government is leading a campaign to increase the use of ethanol. The government has set a target of using 20% ethanol in petrol by the financial year 2025-26. This will reduce dependence on oil imports and increase jobs in the domestic agricultural and manufacturing sectors.

Design: Muscular body with LED headlight setup Apart from the flex-fuel engine, the company has not made any changes to the motorcycle. Its appearance, design and hardware remain the same as before. LED headlights and muscular bodywork are visible.

Its front end has been made a little sharper, giving it a sporty appeal. This bike has been introduced in two color options. Which includes the colors red and gray. An ethanol indicator is also provided on its display. It has 17-inch alloy wheels, a seat height of 789mm and a ground clearance of 177mm.

Performance: 300 CC engine with a power of 24.5 hp For performance, the CB300F is equipped with a 300cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, Flex Fuel-compatible engine that generates 24.5 hp of power and 26 Nm of peak torque.

The engine is tuned to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch, ensuring smooth up and down shifts. There is an oil cooling setup to keep the engine cool.

Features: Fully digital instrument cluster The bike has a fully digital instrument cluster, which has 5 adjustable brightness levels. It provides basic information to the driver like a speedometer, tachometer, gear position, clock and two trip meters. Additionally, it has a smart ethanol indicator, which alerts the rider when the ethanol level exceeds the E85 limit.

Safety Features: Dual-disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS For added safety, the motorcycle is equipped with a dual disc brake setup with dual channel ABS. It has a 276mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. It also features Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which detects rear wheel slip. This system electronically reduces engine torque to control traction and stabilize the motorcycle.

For a comfortable ride, the bike’s suspension setup features an inverted front fork with a gold anodized finish and a 5-step adjustable rear monoshock. For better visibility at night, the bike also has an LED front headlight, LED turn signals and an LED taillight.

What is ethanol? Ethanol is a type of alcohol made from the fermentation of starch and sugar. It is mixed with gasoline and used as an environmentally friendly fuel in vehicles. Ethanol is produced primarily from sugarcane juice, but ethanol can also be produced from starchy materials such as corn, rotten potatoes, cassava, and rotten vegetables.

1G of ethanol: First generation ethanol is made from sugar cane juice, sweet beets, rotten potatoes, sweet sorghum and corn.2G Ethanol: Second generation ethanol is made from cellulose and lignocellulosic materials such as rice bran, wheat bran, corn cob, bamboo and woody biomass.3G biofuel: The third generation biofuel will be made from algae. Work on this is still ongoing.

What is the benefit of adding ethanol? Blending ethanol with gasoline will help reduce pollution caused by gasoline use. Thanks to its use, vehicles emit 35% less carbon monoxide. Ethanol also reduces sulfur dioxide and hydrocarbon emissions. Thanks to the 35% oxygen present in ethanol, this fuel also reduces nitrogen oxide emissions.

What is the benefit for the common man: Vehicles running on gasoline adulterated with ethanol heat up much less than gasoline. The alcohol in ethanol evaporates quickly, so the engine does not heat up quickly. Apart from that, it will be much cheaper than crude oil. This should also help fight inflation.Benefit for farmers: The increasing use of ethanol will also increase farmers’ income. Because ethanol is made from sugar cane, corn and many other crops. Sweet mills will benefit from a new source of income and their income will increase. Farmers have enjoyed a profit of Rs 21,000 crore through ethanol.
