Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) is gearing up to launch the Dark Edition of its popular SUV Elevate. Recently, the production version of this special edition was seen in testing. According to Autocar India, the Dark Edition of the Elevate will be launched on January 7.

Honda will present two versions. This includes the Elevate Black Edition and the Elevate Signature Black Edition. Both special editions will launch in a dark black color theme with cosmetic updates. The company has not shared the interior information, but the cabin of the car will be based on a dark theme.

The company claims that the car travels 17 kilometers on one liter of gasoline. The upcoming edition of Elevate will compete with vehicles like Kia Seltos X-Line, Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition, Volkswagen Taigun GT-Line, MG Aster Black Storm Edition and Hyundai Creta N-Line in the Indian market.

The Honda Elevate Dark Edition will cost Rs 60,000-75,000 more than the base variant. It will be based on its top-end ZX variant. It is expected to be costlier than its base variant by around Rs 60,000 to 75,000. Its price can start from around Rs 17.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It will feature features like automatic climate control, connected car technology, and Honda’s ADAS Level 2.
