Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has started bookings for the Acti-e and QC1 today (January 1). The company had introduced the two electric vehicles in India in November 2024. This is the company’s first electric two-wheeler.
The Activa Electric can be booked at select dealerships in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, while the QC1 is available for booking in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chandigarh.
You can book them for a token amount of Rs 1,000. The pricing of both models will be announced at the Global Expo this month, while deliveries will begin in February. Both electric vehicles will compete with the Ola S1 range.
Activa-E will get a swappable battery. Activa-E will get a swappable battery and QC1 will get a fixed battery option. The company claims that the Activa-E can reach a top speed of 80 km and travel 102 km on a full charge. While the QC1 will benefit from a range of 80 km on full charge and a top speed of 50 km/h.
Honda offers a 3-year/50,000 km warranty, three free services and free roadside assistance. This warranty offer is available to those who purchase an electric vehicle within the first year.
Activa E has two batteries with a capacity of 3 kW. Thanks to which it can drive at a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour.
Both electric vehicles will be offered with five color options. Honda Activa Electric and QC1 is an electric vehicle with an advanced and attractive design. The design of the two electric vehicles is similar, only the hub motor is provided in the rear wheel of the QC1. At the same time, the electric motor is installed on the rear wheel side of Activa-E.
The front apron of both electric vehicles features LED headlights, indicated by turn signals and a stylish LED DRL. The bodywork is shiny, with a mix of curved and straight lines. Both electric vehicles will have 5 color options. Which includes Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matte Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black and Pearl Shallow Blue.
Performance: 0 to 60 km/h in 7.3 seconds. Activa-E has an electric motor mounted on the side of the rear wheel for added performance, which generates 8 hp of power and 22 Nm of torque. The company claims that the electric scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60 km /h in just 7.3 seconds.
It has three driving modes: Eco, Standard and Sport. Activa-E was introduced with a 3 kWh battery. It has two exchangeable 1.5 kWh batteries. The company claims that the electric scooter will travel 102 kilometers on a single charge.
At the same time, the QC1 has a BLDC hub motor mounted in the rear wheel, which generates 2.4 hp power and 77 Nm torque. The company claims that this scooter can reach the speed of 0 to 40 km/h in just 9.7 seconds and its top speed is 50 km/h. It will have two driving modes – Standard and Eco.
To power the QC1’s motor, a fixed 1.5 kWh battery has been provided, which will provide a range of 80 kilometers on a full charge. A domestic charger will be supplied with it, thanks to which the battery can be fully charged in 6 hours 50 minutes and up to 80% in 4 hours 30 minutes.
Hardware: 12-inch Honda Activa-E and QC1 alloy wheels have a telescopic fork at the front and 5-step adjustable hydraulic twin shock absorbers at the rear for a comfortable ride. For braking, Activa-E has used a 160mm front disc and a 130mm drum brake at the rear, while the QC1 will have a 130mm drum brake in the front wheel and a 130mm drum brake. 110 mm in the rear wheel. Both electric vehicles feature 12-inch alloy wheels on both sides.

Due to the availability of replaceable battery in electric scooters, there will be very less space under the seat.
The Battery as a Service program will also be available with both electric vehicles. The company will soon offer battery as a service (BAAS) with both electric vehicles, like automaker MG Motor India. This is a battery rental program. In this context, the cost of the battery is not included in the purchase price of an electric car. Instead, money will be charged based on battery usage.
That is, the cost of the battery will be recovered as rental charges based on the number of kilometers covered, which you will have to pay in EMI every month, but you will have to pay separately for charging the battery. Both electric vehicles will initially be sold through Honda BeX showrooms in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai.
