Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India will launch its first electric scooter in the Indian market today. This electric two-wheeler will come with two replaceable batteries. It could be e-Activa. Honda has released several teasers of the electric scooter, in which the two replaceable batteries have been shown. Previously released teasers showed two different types of digital instrument clusters.
The company claims that this scooter will be as powerful as Activa 110 and will have a range of 104 km on a single charge. The company recently showcased its concept model at the EICMA auto show held in Milan, Italy. Once launched, it will rival the TVS i-Cube, Ather Rizta, Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak and Ola S1 series.
Due to the availability of replaceable battery in electric scooters, there will be very less space under the seat.

The Honda electric scooter has a telescopic fork at the front and two shock absorbers at the rear. It uses a 190mm front disc and a 110mm drum brake at the rear. It features 12-inch alloy wheels on both sides. E-Activa will have a wheelbase of 1,310 mm, seat height of 765 mm and ground clearance of 270 mm.
