Chinese technology company Vivo today (September 25) launched a new smartphone ‘Vivo V40e’ from the Vivo V40 series in the Indian market. The smartphone will have a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, 2,000 nits peak brightness, AMOLED 3D curved display, and a 50MP selfie camera.

The Vivo V40e smartphone has IP64 protection to protect against dust and water. Apart from this, the smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and an aura light on the rear panel, which will also work as a notification flasher.

Vivo has launched this new smartphone in two color options – Royal Bronze and Mint Green. In the Indian market, it has been introduced with 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 12 GB storage with 256 GB storage, the starting price of which is Rs 33,999. However, on pre-booking, a discount going up to Rs 5,000 is available on both smartphones.

The smartphone is now available for pre-reservation on the company’s website, the sale of which will begin on October 2. HDFC and SBI are offering offers like 10% instant discount on pre-booking with cards, no-cost EMI up to 6 months, 15 days replacement and 10 months extended warranty.

Vivo V40e will also come with a ZEISS telephoto portrait camera like the previous smartphone. ZEISS cameras are known for their high-quality manufacturing and superior light intensity. This camera has features like a standard autofocus lens and manual focus.
