Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 model of Honda SP125 in India. The company has made modifications to the engine of the 125cc premium commuter motorcycle in compliance with OBD2B emission norms. The bike now comes with some cosmetic changes and features like Bluetooth connectivity and navigation have been provided. The motorcycle will also run on E-20 gasoline.
The company introduced the bike in two variants. The front drum brake variant with alloy wheels is priced at Rs 91,771 and the front disc brake variant with alloy wheels is priced at Rs 1,00,284, all prices ex-showroom Delhi. In the 125cc commuter motorcycle segment, the Honda SP125 will compete with Hero Glamour, Hero Super Splendor, Honda Shine, TVS Rider, etc.

Design and Material: LED lighting setup and 18-inch alloy wheels Honda has given the updated motorcycle a sharp front and rear end with new LED headlights and taillights, as well as a tank fairing aggressive, a chrome muffler cover and advanced graphics. The bike is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels. It is equipped with 80/100 section tires at the front and 100/80 section tires at the rear.
For a comfortable ride, the bike has a double telescopic fork at the front and a hydraulic type suspension at the rear. At the same time, for braking, the option of 240 mm disc and 130 mm drum has been given at the front.
Performance: According to emission standards, the biggest change in the powerful 10.7 hp engine has been made to the engine. For performance, it received an updated engine as per OBD2B emission standards. It is a 123.94 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates 10.7 hp of power and 10.9 nm of torque. This engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
OBD2 stands for On-Board Diagnostics Second Version. This system monitors vehicle circuit continuity, misfires, filters and other items. This system monitors the emissions traveling through the vehicle and informs the driver of any irregularities. Vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025 will have to meet government emissions standards. This is why companies are changing their models.
Features: Navigation with 4.2-inch TFT display The latest bike now has a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and support for the Honda RoadSync app. For better driving, it has features like navigation, voice assistance, engine on-off switch, overrun switch, and integrated headlight beam. Apart from this, a USB Type-C charging port has been added to the bike.
The bike is also equipped with rear suspension and a customer combined braking system. To improve stability and grip levels, Honda has increased the width of the rear tire by 100mm. PGM-FI technology was used there, thanks to which the mileage of the bike will become even better in the real world.
