Yamaha India Motor today (September 23) launched the updated model of the RAY-ZR Street Rally scooter in the Indian market. The scooter now has new features such as the “Response” function and LED daytime running lights. Apart from this, the scooter has been introduced with a hybrid engine and a new color option.
The price of the updated scooter has been kept at Rs 98,130. After the new update, the price of the scooter has become more expensive by Rs 2,000 than the previous model. The scooter is available for booking at Yamaha dealerships in India. The Yamaha RayZR Street Rally takes on the Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Hero Destiny 125 and Suzuki Ace 125.

What’s new in the updated Yamaha RayZR? The updated model comes with a “Reply” feature, which will help users locate the RayZR Street Rally in busy areas. As soon as you press “Answer” on the mobile app, the indicators on the scooter will start flashing and a beep will also sound from the buzzer.
Apart from this, LED daytime running lights are also provided there. RayZR Street Rally features 2-tier seats with two-tone color option. These include Ice Flu-Vermillion, Matte Green and Matte Black. After the new update, the style of the scooter has now become sharper and more powerful than before. This scooter has 21 liters of storage under the seat.

Performance: Auto stop and start function The Razr Street Rally scooter features a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with mild-hybrid assistance for performance. Which generates a power of 8.2 hp and a torque of 10.3 Nm. The engine is tuned with a CVT gearbox for the transmission.
This engine complies with BS VI OBD2 and E-20 fuel norms and is one of the mild hybrid petrol scooters. It benefits from an automatic stop-start function and an intelligent motor-generator for fuel savings and quiet starting.

Features: Digital instrument display For a comfortable ride, it has a telescopic suspension at the front and a monocoque suspension at the rear. For braking, Yamaha has provided a front disc and rear drum brake setup for the scooter. Coming to features, the scooter has Bluetooth Y Connect connectivity with a side stand engine cut-off switch and a digital instrument display.
