The Italian 2-wheel brand Velocifero launched its first VLF Tennis 1500W electric scooter in India on Tuesday, November 19. The company has kept the ex-showroom price of the electric scooter at Rs 1.30 lakh. The new electric scooter will be assembled at the KAW Veloce Motors factory in Kolhapur.

The company claims that the electric scooter will have a range of 130 kilometers when fully charged. It can be booked on the official website by paying Rs 999. Its delivery will begin from November 25. It competes with electric scooters like Ather Rizta, Ola S1, TVS iQube, Hero Vida V1 and Bajaj Chetak.

Design: Design on a high-strength steel frame The EV VLF Tennis was designed on a high-strength steel frame. It is a stylish electric scooter, featuring a dual-tone body, a flat seat and a 5-inch TFT instrument console. It has storage space under the seat, which can hold a half helmet.

For a comfortable ride, the VLF Tennis has a telescopic fork at the front and a cantilever monoshock with aluminum swingarm at the rear. For braking, it has hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels. The electric vehicle is equipped with 12-inch alloy wheels, fitted with 110/80 section tires.

Performance: Top speed of 65 km/h and range of 130 km For performance, the VLF Tennis has been equipped with a 1.5 kW electric motor, which generates a power of 3.5 hp and a torque of 157 Nm. The company claims that the electric scooter can reach a top speed of 65 km/h.

To power the electric motor, a 2.5 kWh battery has been provided, which will provide a maximum driving range (IDC) of 130 kilometers on a full charge. The electric scooter comes with a 720 watt charger, which takes around 3 hours to charge the battery.
