Bushra Bibi said that the rally to be held on November 24 for the release of Imran Khan will not stop.
Bushra Bibi, wife of imprisoned former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, has accused Saudi Arabia of conspiring against her husband and ousting him from power. Bushra Bibi affirmed this by publishing a 29-minute video. The video was released on the Tehreek-e-Insaf Party’s YouTube channel.
Earlier, Imran Khan had accused America of ousting him from power. Reports indicate that Bushra’s new revelations will make it more difficult for Imran to be released from prison.
In the video message, Bushra also took the name of then Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Bushra Bibi was released from prison on October 24 after spending more than 265 days in prison.
Bajwa said: There is no truth in the allegations. Bushra said that Imran Khan had taken a religious trip to Saudi Arabia in May 2021. During this time, Imran had gone to Madinah “barefoot”. After returning, General Bajwa started receiving calls. He asked Bajwa, “Who did he bring with him?” We want to end the Sharia system in this country and you have brought in the Sharia entrepreneurs. We don’t want that.
Bushra said:
After this, Bajwa started working against Imran Khan. Bajwa started calling Imran Khan a Saudi agent and started spreading propaganda against me.
Bushra Bibi said Imran never made this matter public but Bajwa should be questioned. It was his family who told someone and it reached us.
Meanwhile, Bajwa denied Bushra’s allegations. In an interview with Pakistani newspaper ARY News, Bajwa said that all Bushra Bibi’s allegations are nonsense.
Relations between Imran Khan and General Bajwa were very good. However, during his second term, relations between the two men deteriorated. Imran later claimed that Bajwa was pushing for friendly relations with India.
Bushra says: November 24 rally will not stop
Bushra said that in Pakistan’s political environment, Imran Khan is like a “lotus flower emerging from the mud”. Imran Khan must be saved because the difference between these people and Khan is that they want to come to power while Khan only comes to power to please Allah. Imran Khan is in trouble because he is fighting for the “real freedom” of the country.
Bushra said the protest on the 24th would not stop. He said: Imran Khan’s message is that every child of Pakistan should be a part of it. Bushra appealed to everyone to reach Islamabad on November 24. This protest will only stop when Imran Khan himself comes out of prison and calls on the public to stop the protest.
Protests took place in Pakistan on September 8 over the release of Imran Khan.
It is worth noting that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will arrive in Pakistan on November 25. For the sake of security measures, the Islamabad High Court on Thursday banned the PTI rally scheduled to take place on November 24.
Imran has been in jail for 474 days
Imran was lodged in Adiala jail in Rawalpindi for 474 days in different cases. The Islamabad local court had convicted him in the Toshakhana case on August 5, 2023.
After this, he was arrested from his house in Zaman Park, Islamabad, and sent to jail. He was subsequently convicted in 2 other cases. However, Imran was acquitted in all these cases. After his release in the fake Nikah case on July 13, he was arrested in the Toshakhana II case.
