French President Emmanuel Macron criticized Musk over the issue. According to CNN, on Monday, without naming Musk, Macron said he was interfering in many countries’ elections.
Macron said:
Who would have thought 10 years ago that the owner of one of the largest social networks in the world would support the international reactionary movement and directly interfere in the elections of many countries, including Germany.
Musk has not yet reacted to this statement. It is also unclear whether or not Musk will support the right-wing party in France. This is not the first time a world leader has made a statement against Musk.
Even on Monday, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gehr Storr expressed deep concern about Musk’s recent statements regarding the internal affairs of European countries. He said such things should not happen in democracies and cooperative countries.
Musk and Macron have a good relationship. Last month, Macron invited Musk to the reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral.
German Chancellor Calls Musk a Troll Earlier, Germany’s ruling party accused Musk of influencing the federal elections. On Sunday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called Musk a troll in response to a media question. He said I don’t support Musk and I don’t promote trolls.

A motion of no confidence was passed in the German Parliament on December 16.
