Earlier on Wednesday, America said 3,000 North Korean troops were already deployed in Russia. According to these allegations, these soldiers were trained in military bases located in eastern Russia.

South Korea says: North Korea sent 1,500 troops last week

Last week, on October 18, South Korea also claimed that North Korea had sent troops to help Russia in the war in Ukraine. South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) issued a statement providing this information.

The agency said in its statement that between October 8 and 13, 1,500 North Korean troops arrived at the Russian port of Vladivostok aboard Russian navy ships. All of these soldiers are part of North Korea’s special mission forces. The agency said North Korea would soon send additional troops to Russia.

The NIS said these North Korean soldiers were given Russian army uniforms, weapons and fake ID cards. Before being deployed, they undergo training to adapt to the Russian environment. All these soldiers live in the Russian military bases of Vladivostok Ussuriysk, Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk.
